HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

The song, "Auld Lang Syne," is sung at the stroke of midnight in almost every English-speaking country in the world to bring in the New Year. It is a Scottish poem, thought to be composed by Scottish poet and lyricist Robert Burns in 1788. It is sung to the traditional folk tune Roud 6294. First published in 1796 after Burns' death. Early variations of the song were sung prior to 1700 and inspired Burns to produce the modern rendition. An old Scottish tune, "Auld Lang Syne" literally means "old long ago," or simply, "the good old days."

For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind ?
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and old lang syne ?
We two have run about the slopes,
and picked the daisies fine ;
But we've wandered many a weary foot,
since auld lang syne.
We two have paddled in the stream,
from morning sun till night ;
But seas between us broad have roared
since auld lang syne.
And there's a hand my trusty friend !
And give us a hand o' thine !
And we'll take a right good-will draught,
for auld lang syne.

Trust everyone had a blessed Christmas season, with those you love and knowing God will bless us ALL in the upcoming year of 2010... We will 'load' photos from our new camera SOON! We are still learning the 'newbie-tricks', so the pix may not be of the best quality, but you will be able to view them in a few days! HAPPY NEW YEAR to each and everyone!!!

Dizzy Dayz of December

We do feel quite ‘dizzy’ these days! We raced through this past week, with last second preparations for the Musical at Church, decorating the stage there, etc.
“It’s A Wonder---ful Life” turned out fine… we had a few glitches in the technical department, but the 'chorus' and 'drama team' pulled it all together, the audience seemed to enjoy the program and the ‘storyline’ hit home for many! Thanks to each and every individual who was involved. Adult and child alike, we wouldn’t have gotten through it without YOU! Thank You!!!
We are now in the middle of the Holiday madness that December brings! Shopping, parties, etc. For instance, we have something on schedule every single evening this week, alone... not to mention anything about next week!
“I sometimes think we expect too much of Christmas DAY. We try to crowd into it the long arrears of kindliness and humanity of the whole year. As for me, I like to take my Christmas a little at a time, all through the year. And thus, I drift along into the holidays... let them overtake me unexpectedly... waking up some fine morning and suddenly saying to myself: "Why, this is Christmas Day!" (Grayson) Maybe we should all slow down TODAY and enjoy the hidden details of Christmas. The joy of the laughter in children's eyes, the beauty of a freshly fallen snow, the silence of that Holy Night many years ago and the majesty of Jesus Christ, OUR King!
By the way, I was able to ‘borrow’ a few photos, from our program on Sunday and will be posting them on the Children’s website, soon. www.sskidz.blogspot.com We will again, try to ‘capture’ a few pictures from someone, this coming Sunday and the Christmas Cantata, as well!
Let’s bottle up some of the Christmas spirit this year, put it into jars and open a jar every month during the year, 2010.……. it can be contagious, you know!

Family & Holiday Go Together Like A Horse & Carriage

We had an exciting week of preparing for company and an even more exciting weekend of fun, with our company! After a vigorous day of cleaning on Wednesday, our guests arrived on Thursday around noon. These guests included Greg’s Mom and Dad, his brother Chad and wife, Sunny. Thursday afternoon, we joined my parents, Larry and Trisha, Uncle Ron, Aunt Diane and Mamaw S. for a SCRUMPTIOUS Thanksgiving dinner, together! Mother… you outdid yourself in every way! Thank you!!! That evening we went back to our place and enjoyed a relaxing time, all warm and cozy in our “jammies”. On Friday, we continued more of the same, until mid-afternoon… when we headed downtown Indy to check out Lucas Oil and watch the “Circle of Lights”! This was also tons of fun, Mom P. and I did a great deal of ‘people-watching’ as the Holiday Stage was being set, while having a warm snack from Au Bon Pain. The rest of the crew headed over to Circle Center Mall to waste a couple of hours and returned just as the ‘pre-show’ was about to begin. A ‘nap-less’ Aly was getting a bit frustrated in the cold night air, so we ended up leaving before the “BIG MOMENT”. However, it turned out to be a lovely evening, after all! Saturday, we drove over to the Incredible Pizza Co. and enjoyed a very tasty buffet, lots of games, rides, etc. and laughed more than we had a right to! We even took in a ‘bit’ of shopping later that afternoon. It was a pleasure to have to have our family worship with us on Sunday and we all enjoyed hot homemade soup and chili before they departed for home. We already miss them and look forward to Christmas visits coming SOON! There are even more reasons about looking forward to Christmas and number one would have to be, the fact that we will be receiving a new camera and will no longer have to ‘beg, borrow or steal’ photos from family and friends! A SPECIAL THANK YOU, to my sis-in-law, Sunny for ‘sharing’ a handful of Thanksgiving-Weekend pix with me and I will now 'share' them for you to view below!!! Trust all of my Blogger-Palz will have a chance to ‘rest up’ from their busy Thanksgiving Holidays and enjoy the upcoming Christmas Season…

Thank You Lord for Your Blessings…

As the world looks upon me (us), as I (we) struggle along...
They say I (we) have nothing, but they are so wrong.
In my (our) heart(‘s) I'm (we’re) rejoicing, how I (we) wish they could see.
Thank you Lord, for Your blessings on me (us).

Now, I (we) know I'm (we’re) not wealthy and these clothes they're not new...
I (we) don't have much money, but Lord I (we) have You.
And to me (us) that's all that matters, though the world cannot see.
Thank You Lord, for your blessings on me (us).

There's a roof up above me (us)
I've (we’ve) a good place to sleep.
There's food on my (our) table
And shoes on my feet.
You gave me (us) Your Love, Lord
And a fine family.
Thank you Lord, for your blessings on me (us).

Happy Thanksgiving One and ALL!!!

Alyson's First "Wee Worship" Experience

We are thrilled to announce, Aly truly enjoyed her first visit to “Wee Worship”, this past Sunday! Mrs. Alberta, Mrs. Maria and their staff are amazing with those kids and Aly simply loved being a part of it all. The theme of this particular Sunday, was ’The Creation’ and Aly was able to bring her first ‘paper’ home, a 3-D coloring page, to place on the fridge! Now, we’ve made things at home in the past, but THIS was different! Also, each Sunday the “Wee Worshiper’s” make an edible snack/craft… and here is Aly’s!
‘The Creation’, complete with the sun, moon, trees, flowers, grass, dirt and even WORMS! Thanks, “Wee Worship” team, for making our Aly’s day, she is having trouble waiting for next week, now!
What a wild weekend AND Monday we’ve gone through! We decided to pull out all the Christmas decorations and finish them, so we could actually have time to enjoy the season! If we had waited until after Thanksgiving, the first of December would’ve been here and then less than a month until Christmas! For certain, 3 or 4 weeks is NOT enough Christmas for us! It’s is our favorite time of year and if things had been a bit more ’normal’ this month, our Christmas ’wonderland’ would’ve have been completed even before mid-November… However, we are now enjoying the true beauty of Christmas and hearing Aly’s “OOO’s” and “AHH’s” over the bright lights and ornaments! (When it is 100% complete, we will post pix!) The pure wonder of a child at Christmas, there’s nothing quite like it, is there?
On a similar note, we are getting more and more anxious for the children’s Christmas Musical, “It’s A Wonder---ful Life”, at church! ONLY 3 weeks away!!! It should be the best one we’ve put on (at least for the past 5 years), but the stress of the adults involved would NOT exactly be summed up as ‘wonder---ful’, at this point! LOL If you think about it, over the next 3 weeks please say a prayer, that all will go well and there will be spiritual results evident, within those that come to see us perform. May God, Himself, be glorified……...

Be on the lookout for a Thanksgiving Slideshow soon! Happy Holidays!!!

Farewell and Homecoming All Rolled Into One Weekend

It seems fitting that I would find time today, Veteran’s Day, to Blog! God bless the men and women who give and have given their all, for the freedoms we all hold dear! Wesley is now among those heroes and we are ever grateful for his desire, to ‘stand in the gap’, for his Country!
Aly and I certainly have had an interesting week! This past Wednesday evening, following church activities, Greg and I put Aly down for the night and it was the last time she saw her Daddy, until Monday evening when she awoke from her afternoon nap! To keep her calm, we didn’t talk about what was happening, until bedtime on Sunday night, we felt she would understand a “one moon” a little better than “five moons”.
Greg slipped away at the end of his workday on Thursday and headed to Missouri, where he spent a final weekend with Wesley, who was to leave for USAF Boot Camp. The two of them were also able to enjoy a bit of ’manly’ time with Grandpa and Uncle Chad over the weekend, as well! Grandpa P., Grandma P., Uncle Chad and Greg drove Wes to Jeff City on Sunday morning, where he was shuttled to St. Louis, for an early morning flight to San Antonio on Monday. We already miss him, but know that God is there with him and has big plans for him and his future! We trust God to see Wes through and will continue to pray daily for his safety!
While all of this was happening to “Daddy”, Aly and I had quite a bit of excitement of our own… ’Uncle’ Scott and ’Aunt’ Suzanne (cousins) from beautiful Louisiana came to town for a visit! We all had a ball! Tons of laughter, entirely too much food, viewing family photos, etc.! We made marvelous, magnificent memories together! Nothing beats time with family, even if we were missing our “Daddy”, at the same time! One of the highlights of the weekend, would have to be when we went shopping at the Mall, (We found it hard to believe Santa was already there!) then lunch together at “Johnny Rockets”, was yet another grand and glorious memory made! Thanks, Scott and Suzanne for coming up to ’Yankee land’ for a few days and reminding us of just how much we miss YOU and the South!!! We love you both! “The love in our family flows strong and deep, leaving us memories to treasure and keep.” (unknown)

The ultimate ‘sad’ news of this post would be the fact, that we do not have ONE single photo of Greg’s trip to Mexico, nor ONE single photo of our weekend here in Indy! However, I have included three pictures for you, 1 of Scott and Suzanne (taken at Cousin Jordy and Jessika's wedding), 1 of Wesley’s Graduation Day portraits and 1 old favorite of Greg (and Aly) who was missed terribly while he was away. We WILL try to do better at posting pictures in the future!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Alyson Dawn (October 30, 2009)

Though we are a bit sad, at the thought of Alyson already being 2 years old, we are thankful to have such a beautiful gift from Heaven to call our very own! We've just come through a very busy weekend... Aly's Birthday Party on Friday evening, Trick or Treating at the Mall on Saturday and a full day at Church on Sunday! A wonderful few days together, though!!!
We celebrated our 'Ladybug Aly' and the BIG #2, at "Incredible Pizza Company" and an 'incredible' time was had by all... adults and children alike! A wonderful buffet of every kind of food you can imagine, our "Incredible" Party Hostess/Entertainer (Lindsey), unlimited "Incredible Fairground" fun for everyone and all followed by a 'Ladybug' red velvet cake at Mamaw S.'s house!!! (Aly also enjoyed her 1st Trick or Treating... at the Mall on Saturday!) Thanks for the many birthday wishes, gifts and prayers!!! ARGH... once again, we were 'jinxed' with our 'chincy' camera and had to borrow one from Mother and Daddy for the weekend... thanks for sharing, y'all! We'll let the pictures speak for themselves in the slideshow above, of the weekend and it's events! (Remember, you can 'click' the center of the 'showbox' to be taken directly to the 'photo album'!) ENJOY...

In Limbo...

We are in a bit of 'limbo'... staying too busy to keep up with much online work. We've completed quite a bit of work on our house over the past couple of weeks, had a bit of short 'sick spells', tons of Church 'homework' had to be finished for the Christmas Program, etc., etc. Needless to say, we've been on a WILD ride lately!!!
Aly's 2nd Birthday Party is coming up on Friday... the 30th! So, rest assured there will be another blog posted soon and it will include party pictures... of course!!! We also have company coming in at the beginning of November and again at the end of November and will post on those occasions, as well!
Wishing all of our blogging 'Palz' a spooooky and waaaacky Halloween day...

October Blessings

“October” with it’s gorgeous colors on the trees, bright beautiful flowers, the smell of burning leaves, sweaters, boots and “blankies”... Hats for the cooler weather, fun times at football games and the many spicy scents of Autumn floating in the breeze. The month is nearly gone and Thanksgiving will be here soon, so we send blessings to you, as you spend this season with the colorful folks you love!
There is not much news to tell, being as I was sick right up to this past Saturday and still feel like I’m in recovery! LOL
I had a serious case of “Cabin Fever”, so we did take Aly to BouncerTown on Saturday afternoon. She had a ball and had to ‘tackle’ every single attraction there! No pictures, though! Again, just wasn’t up to that… will try to capture a few soon!
Papaw J. took Aly to the “Pumpkin Patch” on Monday and she totally loved every second of it! She wanted the biggest one out there, but neither of them could carry it, so they chose one they could handle! After we have it ‘fixed up’ and placed outside, we’ll do our best to snap a few pictures for you to view. THANKS, Papaw for such a fun trip, for our Aly-girl!!!

Do you know of a Mr. or Mrs. Bucket (AKA: “Bouquet” from BBC) in your life or part of the world? You know the type… the person or persons whose aim in life is to impress their neighbor, friends and important people? Doing their best to give the impression that they’re of high social standing and incomparably superior to those around them, while proving all the time they really aren’t? This is not to say, there is anything wrong with taking a LITTLE pride in ones self, though! LOL Caring about the clothes you wear, a bit of high maintenance from time to time, etc. Instead, a 'Bucket' is usually focused more on the attitude of me, me, me and in… “Keeping Up Appearances” at all times. Now, while this can be humorous, it isn’t always so funny to have a ‘Bucket’ around in our own everyday life… Lord, help ME not to be a ‘Mrs.’ Bucket… unless it’s just to give others a good laugh!!!

Life Can Be Quite the Trip…

WOW! Our lives can certainly agree to this post title! After a hectic few days last week, we were finally packed, loaded and westward bound on Friday evening! Being as we were off to a very late start, we didn’t arrive much before 11PM, Missouri time (12AM in Indiana)! Of course, we stayed up entirely too late chatting with everyone! Needless to say, we were already exhausted beyond words, even before we ever left Indy. However, we were determined to make the best of the few hours we had to spend with the family, though! Wouldn’t you know, I woke up Saturday morning very ill!?!?! All signs of a massive sinus infection along with flu-like symptoms, to boot! Aches, pains, low-grade fever… YOU NAME IT! Well, it was severe enough to put me “down” for the rest of the weekend. It is now Tuesday night, we’ve been home since late Sunday night, but I am still ‘bed-ridden’, with this case of old fashioned, “Yankeefied Droops”! The only light I see at the end of this tunnel, would have to be the strong medicines my doctor prescribed for me, yesterday! They are working… just extremely slowly! On top of it all, I’ve actually had a few side effects from them! NOT good!!!
The really bad news of the week? The fact, we never took one single picture on our trip! I was entirely too ill to care and Greg was too busy having fun (as usual, when we’re out there), to pick up the camera and do anything about it! LOL We hope to retrieve a picture or two taken with Mom and Dad P.’s camera that day, though! The kids “tripple” party sounded as if they were having a ball at the time and I heard that Aly really showed herself… especially when it came time to blow out the candles! One thing is for certain, I am DONE with being sick!!! Picture-taking and party-going would’ve been much more ‘my speed‘! Here is a cute little poem I found a couple of days ago, online.
"I am sick, I'm about to snap. My nose is leaking, I just want to nap. Been drinking juices & blowing my nose. My body screams, aches from my head down 2 my toes. I hate being sick, my mind doesn't work. Wish I was healthy, back to my normal self!” (M. Messineo)

GREG AT A RECENT PHOTO SHOOT FOR WORK

I would like to post one new photo this week. One of my one and only, personal, private, ‘In-House Doctor’, but please note, he is NOT up for hire elsewhere! Thanks, Sweetheart! You’ve done everything in your power to make my world a whole lot easier over the past few days and I can never thank you enough! Please know that I have been praying, that these ’bugs’ will stay very far away from you! I seriously don’t know how Aly and I would function... not with you stuck in the bed like this, sick as a puppy! I’m also very thankful, that Aly still has a dose or two left of HER antibiotics, because I in no way want to see her have a relapse! Again Greg, thanks for being so wonderful… I LOVE YOU!!!

Breaking Records on The Scale of "Busy"

Aly with Sunflower the Clown
Things are not letting up around our house, on the “busy scale”, that’s for certain! Reunion Sunday at Southside was this past Sunday and we had a fantastic day! Incredible crowds, delicious meal, fun activities, etc. You’ll be able to see the details at http://www.sskidz.blogspot.com/ next week! A very special thank you to each and every person who helped! The kids are not likely to forget such a fun day!

Aly on a beautiful Fall day

“When bone tired & weary...we often underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring and all of these have the potential to turn a life around. SO! WAKE UP...if only long enough to help turn someone else's life around and see for yourself what it will do for you, in return!!!” (unknown)
We have seen many scary things in the news lately… this week, was possibly the most scary of all (IF true…)! Judge Andrew Napolitano comments on the completely unconstitutional bill in Massachusetts that will allow the governor to declare an emergency and "allow" police to force their way into your homes to vaccinate YOU and YOUR FAMILY. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/80761028/

Our "School Girl" 9/25/09
Tomorrow, will again be another busy day, in addition to school, paperwork, etc., there will be laundry and packing to do. Because Friday afternoon, is SUPPOSED to find us Highway-bound for Missouri, the good Lord willing. This will also be a busy time of reuniting with family, dual birthday celebrations for the kids while there, and so much more. In addition to everything else mentioned, Revival begins at our home church, on Sunday. What do you say……… Is it time to double up 'on the brew' or what? Do you take cream and sugar???

It's Official! Fall is Here...

"Pumpkins, pumpkins in a patch, as far as I can see. Pumpkins, pumpkins in a patch, look, that one's bigger than me! I need a pumpkin nice and round so, I can carve a face and when I've found the perfect one, I'll bring it back to my place! I'll make a nice big pumpkin smile, that'll light the night with cheer... My small little pumpkin, from the patch, this colorful time of year!" (Unknown)
As hard as it is for us to believe, Fall officially 'hit' yesterday evening, at 5:18PM! Now, if we could just get the temps to stay this nice throughout Fall and Winter (except for Christmas week, of course!)...

Alyson Dawn with Mrs. Jodie, September 22, 2009
We continue to be very very busy with plans for our church Reunion Sunday and working on the Christmas Musical, of course! Aly began music classes, at University of Indianapolis, this week. She loved her time with Mrs. Jodie and enjoyed meeting new friends along the way, as well!
Aly and I, have both been down with a bit of what could be called, "the Yankeefied Droops", so neither of us have been feeling quite ourselves this week! We are praying that Greg doesn't end up with them, too! The Princess and I, are determined to get over these 'bugs' and get on with the excitement of a fun Autumn ahead! After all, she has a birthday coming up pretty soon!!!
Happy Fall, ya'll........trust you are all enjoying a colorful one, thus far!

September is Nearing an End... Already?

Greg, Aly and I: Taken at Cousin Corey's Birthday Party (9/4/09)...
Since our last post, the nation has come through the 8th so-called Anniversary of 9/11! It doesn't seem possible that it has been so long, we only hope and pray that God will once again, bless America and keep 'her' safe from other such dangers, in the future!
Well, our household has been exceptionally busy lately! I suddenly realized this morning, that I had not blogged since our trip to Nashville and that has been ALMOST two weeks ago, now!
We are going ahead, full force, with work on the Christmas Musical at Church and we continue to be busy planning children's all-day activities for the Southside Reunion on the 27th, of this month!
Aly, is also recovering from a sinus infection (and a 2yr. molar-fever), that she 'picked up' a few days after our return home. So, needless to say there hasn't been much time to come up for air around here, so to speak!
The best news of ALL, is the fact that Mamaw S. is HOME!!! Still not quite back to 'everyday-normal', but well on the way and we PRAISE GOD for all He's done and is doing in Mamaw's life!
Trust you'll all have an exceptional week and enjoy the rest of this "Sunny September"......

A "Southern" (Belated) Anniversary Vacation

Greg and I have just returned from our belated Anniversary trip… to Nashville, Tennessee! We truly enjoyed our brief 4-day/3-night stay there, our only wish would have been to be able to stay a little longer! It was quite simply a wonderful vacation!!! Our precious Aly-girl was reason enough to head back to Indy on day #4, though! LOL

Greg, thanks for the wonderful get-away trip… it's always fun to celebrate with you! I'll love you forever… with all of my heart!”

Fall Brings More than Changes in Color

Aly and Mommy on the Front Porch~Sunday Afternoon~Aug. 30, 2009

The thought of FALL brings more than just the changing of leaves and their colors… Thus, with the upcoming changes of color, I will be ‘turning a new leaf’, effective immediately! The days tend to be busier lately, with Aly’s school, running errands, even the evenings seem to be filled with more and more items on the ‘to-do ‘list. Because of this, I will be making a couple of online changes and wanted to share them with you.
This past week has gone by very quickly and it doesn’t seem possible that September is already here! Aly is enjoying school, which in turn makes it much easier for me, ‘the Teacher’!
Greg and I will be leaving this coming Saturday, September 5th, for a ’belated Anniversary’ trip, so upon our return you will begin to see the changes below…
Blogger’s: I will continue to BLOG once a week (early in the week) and each post will contain one or two pictures. However, photo albums and slide shows will be added only on special occasions, such as Birthdays, Holidays, Trips and other such ’BIG’ events! This alone will ‘free up’ several hours for me each week! (Please remember: if and when a Photo Slideshow is posted, you can 'click' on the center to be taken directly to the Photo Album!) I will continue to ‘check’ and reply to my post and comments at least once per week, as well. I will also ’browse’ and comment to others, as I have the time to do so.
Face Booker’s: I will continue to post ‘stats’ once or twice a day and depending on my daily schedule, some may only be a line or two. I will attempt to ‘check‘, reply and comment on Face Book every evening. However, when this is not possible, I will respond to comments on my profile, within three days (except in an emergency… such as being out of town, etc.)!
I trust all of you, my online friends and family, will have an incredible FALL season with those you love and enjoy the beauty God gives us on a daily basis. The colors of Fall are a great time to do just that… God bless y‘all!

Back to School Plus...

We have so much to tell you about. We will try to give you the abbreviated version and let the pictures speak for themselves! LOL It has been a very busy and wonderful week!

This past Friday, my parents hosted a "Lawn Party" for all choir members and their spouses. This was a great evening spent with the best of friends, delicious food, beautiful decor, games of croquet and so much more! (Though we were 'rained' indoors for the meal, a few clouds couldn't keep us from the lawn, for long! It did end us up, back indoors for ice cream, though!) Thanks, Mama and Daddy, y'all outdid yourselves and we all had a ball!

On Sunday evening, we SURPRISED Greg with a small Birthday Party in his honor! Again, Mother and Daddy hosted and again did a marvelous job! Hot ham and cheese sandwiches, fresh corn on the cob, chips, relish tray, etc. They ended the evening with delectable cake with fresh strawberries on top! Happy Birthday, Baby! I hope this is your best year ever! You deserve ONLY the very best... I love you!

Back to School Plus
Monday, Aly's first day of "Wee School", went exceptionally well! She loved being a 'big girl going to school'! We had several practice sessions over the past few months and they really helped when it came down to 'crunch time'! After she was dressed, she seemed to know just what was going on... she walked into the office/playroom, pointed up to the shelf where her school books are kept and said, "skoo"! So cute! Thus, began our first class of the year!

Last night, I was honored to and enjoyed attending our (local Facebook) L.N.O., at "Bub's Burgers and Ice Cream"! The ride up to Carmel was quite entertaining, the food tasted great and we laughed til we almost cried! Incredible fun with some incredible friends... OH, and we topped the night off with "Bub's" Ice Cream! YUMEEEEEE! Girls, thanks for the memories, I can't wait til the next event!

Note: By 'clicking' on Aly's school picture you will be able to view the entire Photo Album of all events mentioned above.

Indiana State Fair 2009

We were able to take Alyson to her first State Fair yesterday and did she evermore enjoy herself! We all had a wonderful time together... it's always fun to share time with Memaw and Papaw J.!
Because of the heat, we decided to wait until after her nap time to leave. Another great thing to happen, was that Greg was able to get off work just early enough to go with us, rather than meet up with us later! This was an added blessing to the day!
While looking through the Slide Show, you should have been able to see with each caption, most of what we were able to experience. The 'Parade', the silly 'Street Band', the yummy food, the 'Pig Race', the cows, the 'Horse Show', the tractors, the 'Petting Barn', the lights, the 'Dairy Barn', the sounds, the 'Midway' with all it's rides, snacks, etc.!!! (Remember, you can also 'click' on the slide show to be taken directly to the Photo Album...)
So much to do and we tried to get to as much of it, as possible! Special thanks to Memaw and Papaw for one of the best days/evenings of our Summer, thus far! We wouldn't have traded such fun memories made with y'all for "nothin"! THANKS!
Hey everybody, we'll see what we can find to do this week and return with another post next week... take care and have an incredible week with those YOU love!

The Beginning of the End of Summer

After Camp meeting, the big excitement around our house, was the fact that Mawmaw and Pawpaw P. were coming to visit!!! We cleaned and planned for several days before their arrival and boy did we have fun while they were here! The only complaint we have is the fact they were only able to stay over one night! It would've just been that much better if they'd stayed a lot longer than that! However, our evening was made even better, because following our evening meal, Memaw and Papaw J. came by to share dessert with us!!! Mawmaw and Pawpaw, thanks for coming by to see us, while you were on your Anniversary trip... (Memaw and Papaw, thanks for 'sharing' your ice cream with us, too!) We truly enjoyed spending time with ALL of you and love each of you very much!
The Beginning of the End of Summer
Aly and I showed our artistic abilities this past week, by using sidewalk chalk and drawing a few lovely (or not-so-lovely) pieces of art on our patio and driveway! We didn't take pictures this time, but will try to do so next time! It's a sight that you'll not want to miss out on again, I'm sure! LOL
Almost the end of Summer, already? Where did the time go??? Good grief, by the time we turn around twice, it'll be 2010!!! Speaking which... last night, we celebrated the "End of Summer" with King's Kidz Klub, at Church! The theme of the night was, 'Summer Has Sailed' and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves! (Thanks to each and every helper and child that 'set sail' with us this Summer! We're in hopes that each and EVERY single one will stay 'on board' for this Fall/Winter, as well! It should be tons of fun!!!)
We received WONDERFUL news yesterday!!! Mamaw S. has done so well in therapy, that she is now allowed to place weight on her 'bad' leg! She was able to walk (with a walker), close to 14 feet today and has the staff members 'stumped' with her progress! We praise the Lord for her healing and are trusting Him for her continued good health in the future! Many of you... especially our family who live far away... have asked us about the Rehab Center, where she is staying for therapy. Because of these questions we have chosen to give our readers a 'virtual tour' of Rosegate. We trust this will help each of you feel more 'in touch' with her and give you some sense of what her life is like while in rehab.

Aly, Thunderstorms, District Assembly, Etc.

Summer with Alyson, Our Anniversary Date, Etc.
As this is being typed, there is a raging thunderstorm outside and Aly doesn't care so much for it! Our electricity went on the 'blink' while she was having her brunch and she just couldn't understand what THAT was all about! Guess she's going to be like her Mommy and not like storms... now, don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with a soft southern rainstorm. You know the kind, where the sheets of rain are soft as they come down from the sky at an angle, the sky is a hazy light blue and in just moments the sun is back out and warming the soul, once again. Lovely!
Thankful to God, for a wonderful hubby, a great God and between the two of them, the 'glitch' in our air condition from last weekend seems to be on the 'mend', now! Whew... what a blessing!!! Even though, I love the South and the warmth there, that doesn't mean that I want to live without AIR! (We actually have a ceiling fan on our porch, if that tells you anything!!! haha)
This past Sunday evening, we attended our District Ordination service and were able to see several people we hadn't seen in quite a while. Camp and Assembly times are just great for that sort of thing, huh? I told someone the other day, Camp should go on ALL Summer, but I guess that was just the 'kid' in me talking! We look forward to heading back to Camp Camby this week for Family Camp! We'll probably not make it to every service, but we'll certainly try!
Well, yesterday was a bit of a milestone for our little family! Aly 'joined' her friend, "Elmo" and began a process of 'more than just sitting' on her potty chair! We are so proud of her and though it doesn't seem possible that she's this grown up, we hope to have the 'training' completed before her 2nd birthday!!! She seems quite proud of herself, as well! LOL
Greg and I had an enjoyable date on our Anniversary and are getting quite anxious for our 'belated' Celebration trip coming up in September! These truly have been some of the best years, weeks, days and moments of my life. He is a wonderful daddy and an even better husband than I would've ever imagined! I stand in awe of our God and how He knows just who to put together 'in perfect union'...
Trust all of my Blogger friends, who are caught up in this or another storm, will stay dry and safe until our next post! "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." —John 14:27

Aly's Mid-Summer's Dream Come True

We were all happy to 'welcome' Mama and Daddy home, from their trip to Orlando for General Assembly, this past week. Aly was so excited when she saw her Memaw and Papaw... she just about came unglued! LOL I honestly believe that she thought they had moved away and were gone forever or something! I am personally grateful, that when the business side of things in Orlando were completed, they ALLOWED themselves a tiny little bit of 'vacation' time in the sunny South-Lands of Savannah & the Smokies! If anyone ever deserved to take a break, the two of them certainly did! Though it was an extremely short vacation (following a very long Assembly), I know after spending every day, all day in (Assembly) meetings, in addition to the year they have had thus far, this is just the kind of thing that had to be done! While jealous of their time to some of the most beautiful places in America, I'm indeed thankful that they were able to come back to the hum-drum of everyday life, feeling a little more relaxed and ready to face what had to be faced! Upon their arrival home, it was such fun to watch both of their faces brighten up when they saw Aly and her face just absolutely GLOWED at the sight of them!
On Saturday, Cousin Cassie held an all-girl Birthday Party and Aly was 'in her prime'! While being one of two of the youngest in attendance... she didn't seem to notice or care, she was 'just as big as the next one', in her own eyes! It was adorable to listen to several little girls enjoying themselves, there was an abundance of giggles and lots of Cinderella-talk going on! They each brought their own dolly and the dolls had a table of their own, as well! The girls 'pinned' the crown on Cinderella, sang Karaoke and just GIGGLED! Thanks, Cassie for a fun time... Aly had a 'Ball' no pun intended)!!!
NOW, FOR THE BAD NEWS OF THE WEEK!!! Unless, by some miracle of the dear Lord above, it appears that we have either lost our camera or it has been stolen! We were able to take pictures of Mama and Daddy's return (which were loaded to picasa that same evening) and we were also able to take pictures of Cuz Cassie's Birthday Party. However, sometime between taking those and getting ready to load them onto picasa... IT'S GONE (the camera, that is)!!! We don't know what we're going to do without it!?!?! It's a big part of our lives... how can we 'Blog' without it? Well, we 'made do' this week, by borrowing a few shots for our slideshow below. For a larger picture, you may want to click on the center of the slideshow and it will take you to the actual Photo Album. We'll have to wait and see what happens from this point with our camera situation!

'Great' (My) Papaw J. also celebrated a birthday on Saturday and while we were unable to attend, Daddy drove over for a little while and enjoyed time with the family. We are SO blessed to still have Papaw and Mamaw with us!!! (As well as Mamaw S.!) God is good, to not only give us this kind of heritage, but to ALLOW us to keep them for a while! Papaw, we love you (Mamaw, too) and we are sorry that we weren't there to celebrate with you!!! We are proud of you and can't wait to see you, again! Happy Birthday!
Well, we were looking through our calendar on this morning and realized that our Anniversary (July 24th) was a mere 10 days away!!! One of two of the best days of our lives... our Wedding Day, (with the second being the day of Aly's birth)! We plan to 'hold off' on a celebration trip until Labor Day weekend, thus giving us a longer weekend (or if Greg's job requires, we may have to wait further into September). GREG! "You're still the one I love, the only one I dream of, you're still the one I kiss Goodnight. You're still the one I run to, the one that I belong to, you're still the one I want for life... and after all this time, you're still the one I love."
Last evening, (the 13th), I opened our home for an event called L.N.O (Ladies Night Out), which began with my local 'Facebook Family' a few months ago. This particular event was called, "Shelly's Spa" (because it was held at my house) and hosted by a dear friend of mine. Thank you, America, for an amazing evening! Everyone in attendance felt relaxed, revived and rejuvenated at the close of the evening. (I know I'm still 'feeling' it today, as well!) We were treated to foot soaks, foot rubs, instant manicures and facials... a PERFECT "de-stresser" for any girly-girl, especially comforting with 50+ candles burning throughout the house, 'zen-like' music in the background and a Spa-inspired menu!!! The menu consisted of Tossed Salad filled with Dried Cranberries, nuts and drizzled with (Paula Dean's) Southern Peach Pecan Dressing, Pita Chips and Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, Cucumber Slices with Ranch and a Fresh Fruit Salad. YUMMY!!! Boy, I can barely wait til the next Spa... but, more than that, I'm excited to find out about the upcoming 'end-of-the-summer' L.N.O. event! (If you are a 'local FBer' and are interested in our group, just contact me and we'll put you on the guest list for receiving event invites and information.)
Til next week...........

July: A Month for Patriotism, Romancing and Such

Click Here! For the Photo Gallery:
July: Patriotism to Romancing
Needless to say, we have been busy as usual! Isn't July a wonderful month? It's almost always beautiful, sunny, warm and all the other great things that make a perfect Summer...
Whitley was home for the past week and 'us' girls had a ball together! From hanging just out, to shopping, eating at our favorite local spots, playing at BouncerTown or even the Playroom, right here at home! What a grand time...

On Friday evening, (the 3rd), we ate with the family at Edwards Drive In and spent time at the Rehab Center with Mamaw "Who". Later that night, Greg, Aly and I drove over to ("Unky") Mark and ("Aunt-Nita") Anita's for the town's Firework show. Aly wasn't too sure about the noise at first, but the bright colors and flashing lights finally won her over! She has turned into quite the 'Firecracker' girl! On the 4th, it rained ALL day, so we just hung out at home and enjoyed lots of quality time together. That night, the 'Media' guys said the Downtown Fireworks were to be a 'go', come rain or shine. SO! We jumped in the car, (in our 'Jammies') and headed down to see "Freedom Blast 2009"! WELL! We were very disappointed an hour later, to find out the Grand Fire Marshall would not allow the show to go on! There were many tears on the way home, that night...

I woke up on Sunday, under the weather and not feeling well, so Greg left us girls home and headed out to Church alone. By that evening, I was well on the mend, so I stopped by to check in on Mamaw S. When Greg and Aly picked me up, we made a last second decision and drove back downtown for the postponed "Freedom Blast". We had an excellent parking spot for ourselves and our lawn chairs. It was a gorgeous night and once again, Aly loved those fireworks to pieces...
For the Show, we were parked near a place called, "Peewinkles Puppet Studio" and it sparked my interest, I wondered what it could be and why I'd never heard of it. When we arrived back home, I 'Googled' it and found it to be a charming old world style, 50 seat puppet theatre (only a few blocks south of Circle Center in downtown). Ideal for school groups, scouts, birthday parties and reserved parties. Peggy Melchior, Debbi Stutzman and Heidi Shackleford, of MMHP Puppet Productions Inc., present captivating and creative puppet shows for children (incl. puppet making day camps and workshops). "Peewinkles" specialize in a variety of creative puppet shows year round, while using marionettes and special effects. Their shows are sure to delight those of all ages! We look forward to taking Aly for a Birthday Party in her very near future...

On a bit of a side-note, Greg and I will be celebrating our Anniversary toward the end of the month, so be on the look out for a Wedding Photo Album, coming very soon!!! Also, we have been anxiously awaiting the return of Mama and Daddy, from their General Assembly trip, for what seems to be an 'eon' and they WILL be back tonight... We, (especially Aly) can hardly wait, either! We've missed them something terrible, but pray they enjoyed their LITTLE time away! Well, it's on into the rest of another busy week for us, now. We trust each of you will have a marvelous one...

Happy July 4th, Everyone! (ONLY 3 Days Away...)

It's about time for sparklers and fireworks, again!!! The time of year that we feel those 'chills' run up our spines as we listen to a moving Patriotic song, gaze upon "Lady Liberty" as she stands boldly on the New York harbor, see a member of the Military in full uniform walking along the sidewalk or simply watch as an American flag sways gently in the evening breeze. We are truly a blessed people to live in America. Our Nation is changing and it's becoming more and more important that we beg God to once again BLESS America and REVIVE us as a CHRISTIAN Nation. "WE WANT AMERICA BACK"! (In order to view this video clip, you will first need to scroll down to the right, to our 'Penn Palz Favorite Online Music' and press 'Pause'.)

Well, our company from Louisiana have already headed back South and we only wished we'd gotten to tag along! Our family is entirely too close to have this many miles lay between us and these Good-Byes are always tearful! We are so thankful the trip home was made safely, though! (Thanks, Suzanne, we couldn't have made it without you this week and Mamaw was even more thrilled to have a 'new' nurse!!!)

Whitley has been with us since Saturday and plans to stay for the rest of this week. Aly thinks it's pretty incredible having someone 'dote' on her 24/7! Where, you may ask are the pictures of these precious moments together? Well, the lovely camera has been tucked away in the back of the computer armoire, since our Father's Day blog! However, it is now out on the shelf and we hope to put it to use over the next few days!

Until next week, may God bless YOU and may God bless America... Happy July 4th, everyone!

Dwelling On Daddy's Day 09...

Well, we have just come through a wonderful Father's Day weekend! During these type Holidays, I'm aware of my many blessings and of how good God has been to me!
My Daddy, Larry J., has been and is a 'dream-Dad', a man who has lived a life of perfect christian example to me, not only in Fatherhood, but also as a Husband to my Mama! Daddy, I love you and thank you for a wonderful childhood filled with such great times! You never failed to make life fun for me and Mama! A little girl needs Daddy for many, many things: Like holding her high off the ground where the sunlight sings! Like being the deep music, that tells her all is right when she awakens frantic with the terrors of the night. Like being the great mountain, that rises in her heart and shows her how she might get home when all else falls apart. Like giving her the love that is her sea and air, so diving deep or soaring high, she'll always find him there. Daddy, it must have been my Heavenly Father who looked out for me... He blessed me with YOU!! You'll always be #1 in my book! I was blessed with two unbelievable Grandfathers, as well! My (late) Papaw S., a retired Minister, was a real Saint! If ever there was an Angel, who walked this earth as a human, it would have been him! A day never goes by that I don't miss him and his passing gives me more reason than ever to make it to heaven someday! Papaw S., I'll always love you and can't wait to see you, again! My Papaw J., also a retired minister, continues to live his life out in front of his family and grandkids as only a man of God can do! Papaw J., I love you and only wished we could see each other more often! When I married, I 'gained' another "Dad", Dad P., he is an awesome Father-In-Law and helped to raise a near-perfect son, Greg. I am so thankful for that and for the parents in this world who continue to guide their children in the admonition of the Lord. The scripture is true, 'when they are old, they will not depart from It!' This has been proven time and time again! Thanks, Dad P., Love you bunches! Last but not least, my incredible husband, Greg who has given me the life I always dreamed of! A fun marriage, a beautiful home, a wonderful family and an amazing baby girl (Alyson Dawn)! Greg, I will love you for all eternity! When I look at you being a “Dad“, my heart swells with gratitude and pride, I find myself sitting in a corner, admiring you be your natural self, being in your comfort zone of daddy hood. I feel so blessed to have a husband like you. I am so thankful that our children are blessed with a Father as caring, thoughtful, and supportive as you. Baby, I know WITHOUT a doubt it was my Heavenly Father looking out for me... He knew we would compliment each other, so he blessed us with each other. Here is a special wish for you - I wish for continuous blessings from above. For God's guidance, protection and strength. For health, long life and prosperity. I want to thank you for always putting our family’s interest first and for your undying love. I love you from the bottom of my heart!!! (If you missed my Tribute Post to my Mother, Mamaw S., Mamaw J. and Mother-In-Law, you can view them by looking through the 'older posts' below for "Mother's Day Moments".)
During the busy days of Summer that lie ahead, I trust that all my blogging buddies will be blessed with only the best that God has to offer! Happy Summer...

New Job, Romantic Dinner, 1 1/2 Year Shots & More

This past week has certainly been busy with little time for relaxing, at all! As you can see, I'm late on blogging, AGAIN! What has happened to my Mondays and Tuesdays, lately? Here's the story in a nutshell! In addition to Greg's new job (which is one he enjoys and we are all very happy about), Aly had her 1 1/2 year shots (and did very well through the crocodile tears and sobs, I must say), Greg and I were able to 'squeeze in' a little romantic supper here at the house one evening (THANKS to Papaw for taking Aly on a date - while Memaw was busy sitting with Mamaw S.), a couple of days this week were spent having a raging headache (the next one, I will gladly share with anyone willing to take it), we are looking forward to company coming in from Louisiana and Missouri this next week (due to this, there will continue to be more and more cleaning to get done), etc., etc., etc. NOW!!!!! How is that for a start on being "busy"?

Chicken Cordon Bleu, Baked Potatoes, Garden Veggie Medley & More

Before signing off... Greg, Aly and I would like to wish Mama and Daddy a VERY HAPPY "ANNIVERSARY", (yesterday, the 16th)! The two of you are the picture of true love and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to learn love lessons from you. We trust this will be your BEST year, yet! We love you both!!!

Then and Now.............................

Summer Guests Begin to Arrive...

We have a special answer to prayer to share with you! Greg is no longer laid off, he began a new job yesterday, we praise God for this AND His many blessings over the past several months!!!

For those of you who are on Facebook with us... this post will be 'old' news to you. However, there are many of our "Yahoo" friends, who visit solely to keep up with us, thus this post!
We had a cram-packed week, for sure! We began the week by receiving our cousin Nate's first recording project, "Play Me a Tune" and we couldn't be more proud of him... The CD rocks, God has blessed him with an unbelievable talent, for which we are all thankful and the best part is that he uses these talents for his Lord and Saviour. (Keep up the incredible work, Nate, we can't wait for the next one!)
I spent MUCH of the week visiting Mamaw... I am the only grandchild who has had the 'schedule' to do so. With Greg 'laid off', I've had an automatic babysitter, one who's been very willing to allow me this opportunity and I'm so grateful! (Thank you, Baby, you're the best! You amaze me!)
Being as this past week, was the week our Summer guests were to begin arriving, we spent several days "Spring" cleaning! We didn't complete everything on our lists, but with Daddy's help, we did rather well! (Thank you, Daddy, for taking Aly to BouncerTown and allowing us to get a little extra cleaning done! Love Ya!)
Wesley arrived on Friday afternoon, we stopped in to see Mamaw S., before going out with the family that evening for Supper. On Saturday, (Cuz)Nate and (Cuz)Corey joined the 'guys' on a trip to the Indy Air Show and grilled out together for Supper. Sunday was spent at Church. Monday, Nate and Wes hit the Mall before we all headed to "CB" for Supper, with Mama, Daddy, Mark and Anita. We were thrilled to have Nate 'hang out' with us for the past several days! (Guys, you both did a fabulous job helping to keep the house picked up and we thank you! Aly had a ball having y'all here, too!)
We did not capture much on film, because we were just too busy and on top of that, the camera went 'missing' for a few days! However, there are a handful of pictures taken early in the week, of Aly playing outside while her Daddy was taking care of the lawn. Then, we added a couple of the Air Show, as well! Click Here!

Alyson Dawn ~ Now 19 Months Old

I want to say a special Thank You to my hubby, Greg! He has 'taken over' and cared for Aly and the house over the past week, in order for me to spend as much time as possible, with Mamaw S. at the Hospital! I don't know what I'd do without him!!! Greg, you are the best and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you do to make our lives so 'sweet'!!!

Because of the busy lifestyles we've been living, there isn't much to blog about, other than the fact that our Aly-Girl turned 19 months old, this past Saturday, the 30th! Simply unbelievable, it would seem that life is going to slip right by us and hardly give us a chance to try and keep up with it!

"And no matter what the progress -
Or what may yet be proved.
The simple facts of life are such
They cannot be removed...
You must remember this -
A kiss is just a kiss,
A sigh is just a sigh.
The fundamental things
apply...
As time goes by."
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PRINCESS ALYSON!
You will always be our 'heart' and we will love you for all eternity!!!

We are thankful to God, for His tender mercies and many answered prayers over the past weeks concerning Mamaw S., she is improving and though it is a slow process, we're believing God for the future... He is so good! Here's to another busy week ahead in Blogger-land!

(Cuz) Nate Featured at "The Bean Cup"...

We'd love to share a special event with you, which took place this past Friday evening. (Cuz) Nate performed at a local 'coffee spot', "The Bean Cup". CLICK HERE! for photos...

We have posted a brief video clip below for you to view. This was recorded from our digital camera and is not of the best quality, but we are so happy to have 'captured' the moment! (The sound is particularly bad with many sounds from the kitchen coming through. The picture is a bit snowy, too!) As you will also notice, Alyson truly enjoyed herself, didn't mind the crowd one bit and really just 'cut a rug'!
Nate, you did a fantastic job and we only wished we would have been able to video the entire concert (and that the quality would have been up to par)!!! We can't wait for your next 'gig'...

BELOW IS A BRIEF VIDEO CLIP:

We have spent much of this week at the Hospital with Mamaw S. with a little time here at the house... trying to get things back to what we call normal. Mamaw is doing well, although the next few months are bound to be a slow process, she has come through a very intense and tough surgery for someone her age! It's of no surprise, that she seems to have the 'grit' it will take, to make it on to the finish line of Therapy and Rehab! We are so proud of her!!! Please continue to keep her in your prayers!

Graduation 2009 Weekend

Click Here! for the Photo Album: http://picasaweb.google.com/thepennfamily2007/Graduation2009Weekend?feat=directlink
(What a busy weekend, too!) We arrived at the In-Laws on Thursday afternoon under beautiful sunny skies, visited friends at Sis. Clark's Viewing on Friday evening in the midst of horrible storms, Greg and the boys watched Whitley's Track Meet on a brisk Saturday afternoon, the entire family attended Graduate's Sunday at Church in the morning and (most of us) the Baccalaureate Service that evening, then a gorgeous cool Monday evening brought on Wesley's Open House and his Graduation Ceremony later that night. We did not return home again in Indiana, until late Wednesday evening and have been spending much of our time since, at the Hospital with Mamaw S. (details below)...

As you can tell, it was an extremely busy few days, but well worth it! We are so proud of Wesley and can not wait to see what his future holds... we will remain lifting his name up in prayer, as his time comes to leave for USAF Basic Training! We love you, Buddy! (Mom and Dad P.!!! Thanks for everything... this weekend was just great and we know that Wes will carry every memory you helped to create with him forever! Many thanks also go out to Whitley, for helping us with Aly, during the Baccalaureate service! ALL three of you are the best!!!)

HAPPY (BELATED) BIRTHDAY, WITH LOVE, TO MY DADDY (PAPAW J.) & AUNT DIANE (on May 13th)... trust you both had a splendid day! Daddy, you are quite simply the best Daddy/Papaw on the planet and we love you more than you'll ever know!

Greg, Aly and I would also like to say a special thank you to those of you who have been praying for Mamaw ("Who") S. The surgery went well this past Monday. Her stats are looking good, we only ask that you keep her in your prayers, being as she is still retaining some fluids and those need to come down. The Doctors are positive and we are all grateful for the many prayers from you, our friends!

Marvelous Mother's Day Moments...

What a wonderful Mother's Day Week!!! It is so much fun being a Mommy, a Daughter, Grand-Daughter and a Daughter-In-Law! Mother's Day was an exciting day for Angel-Alyson and myself... we were able to spend it with my darling Mother and my precious Grandmother S.! What a wonderful heritage I have been given and hope to hand down to Aly as time allows! We missed getting to be with my sweet, sweet Grandma J. and favorite Mother-In-Law (along with Greg's side of the family this year), though! However, we'll be with his family next week and are looking forward to it with all of our hearts! We actually spent the day, Sunday, with the entire Indiana side of the family, which made Aly very happy, being as she firmly believes that Cousin Cassie hung the moon and maybe the stars, too! One of my favorite quotes on Mother's would have to be that of Abe Lincoln, when he was spoke of his Mother. "All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my Angel Mother" and that is exactly the way I feel about my beloved Mother! Mama, I love you and I owe you more than I'll ever be able to repay you!

(Mother's Day 2009 with Alyson & Mother)
There have been several activities that have kept us busy this past week... in addition to Wesley joining the USAF and his upcoming High School Graduation next week, Whitley and her Track Team have been breaking all sorts of records lately! All Conference 4x100, 4x200, 4x4oo and the 400 Meters Individual are the most current stats we have. She is incredible on the track and we can't wait to see what will happen over the next two years! You go, girl!!! Greg's brother, Chad, recently received his Masters in International Business. Please help us pray for he and his wife, Sunny, as they go forward in their educational journeys. Also, our Cousin Nate became a College Graduate, from Ivy Tech this past Saturday. He plans to continue his education next year with yet another degree! Nate, we are so excited to see what God has in store for you... Love ya!
