Summer's Drawing to a Close!

Let the photos and captions speak for themselves...we have truly enjoyed the last couple of weeks and are very thankful to have been able to spend time together as a family and in the presence of  family and friends!!! Our End of the Summer/Back to School family vacation was a ton of fun, Alyson began school last week (turns out she's in  love with every moment spent there), and Greg's "extended" weekend-long Birthday celebration was filled with memories to last a life time!  We are looking forward to seeing what else God has in store for us as Fall arrives! We are blessed beyond belief!!!

Happy Anniversary 2012 and Blessed Memories of the Past

Greg and I were thrilled to celebrate yet another Anniversary this month, on July 24th and due to an extremely busy schedule, we postponed our celebration until the first weekend of August. On Friday evening, we had fun spending our gift cards on a lovely dinner out, stopping by for dessert on the way home.....alone, being as Aly was at one of her infamous sleep-overs! (Thank you, Uncle Mark and Aunt 'Nita for being such a wonderful host/hostess' and another thank you to Ms. Cassie for adding to the mix.....Aly had a ball!) The next morning, we relaxed, took a "Sunday-afternoon-drive" on Saturday and simply took time to enjoy each others company! We have a couple of photos taken over the weekend and decided to add a few of our favorite past Anniversary "memories" to the album, as well! (Remember, you can left-click on the center of the slideshow to be taken to larger still-shots of the photos!) Happy Anniversary to us and we pray the Lord will send us many more!

Mother's Day & Father's Day 2012

This is the official Mother's Day and Father's Day photo album...we will post another blog soon on additional and exciting Summer activities!! Keeping the many friends and others in our prayers, who are being affected by fires in Colorado and tropical storms down south!! Trust our blogger-friends are enjoying a great Summer, thus far!!

The Beginnings of Summer

The past month has been FULL to say the least...Mother's Day, Staycation, Pool Days and more!!! It has come to our attention that we did not post a Mother's Day Album on this site (which we were blessed to have spent with the Indiana family), so we are going to add a few pictures from that day to an Album we will call "The Beginnings of Summer"!!! 
Our busy schedule has included, Memorial Day with the Ohio family (AKA: A 75th Anniversary Celebration for Mamaw and Papaw J.), we also enjoyed "Date Night" (while Aly had a "sleep ova" at Mimi and Papaw's), the Staycation (which was already mentioned), an afternoon at Uncle Bill's Pet Center and the list goes on and on!!! 
We're looking forward to the month of June...well, we would be more honest if we said, we're excited for the entire Summer!!! There is company coming in from Louisiana next week, Father's Day right around the corner, also Wesley will be state-side in July and once again, the list goes on and on!!! 
We would like to take a moment and wish all of you the most wonderful Summer...be sure to stop and smell the daisies, chill out with your loved ones and enjoy the small things in life!!! HAPPY SUMMER!!!

Easter and Spring Break 2012

Time is tight this week and energy low, but we do not wish to wait a second longer, in posting photos from this past Easter and our recent Spring Break! 
As you will notice, some have gone through the edit program, while others have yet to be done (and are in desperate need of editing)! Our schedule simply will not allow us to edit everything the way we always have in the past right now...but, we are so thankful the Lord gave us a beautiful and meaningful Easter, both at Church and with our family! (Please excuse the photos which are raw!)
We are also grateful to have had a splendid and safe Spring Break, both at IHC in Dayton and in St. Louis, followed by a few days at the home of Greg's parents! 
This has indeed been an incredible Spring and we're looking forward to an even better Summer!
